Morton Katz letters, 1942-1945, to Bill Rogoff.

Letters and V-mail written by Katz, who was serving with the 509th Parachute Infantry, 2nd Battalion in World War II, to friend William M. Rogoff. Katz mentioned that he finished his master's degree at Iowa State University. His letters were addressed from England, North Africa, Italy and France. He mentioned the type of food he was eating, the weather, movies he saw, and news about his family. Rogoff was in the U.S. Navy, first at the Navy Medical School in Bethesda, Maryland, and then with the 77th Malariology Unit of the 7th Pacific Fleet. Katz settled in Hartford after the war, where he practices law.
